Located within downtown Washington’s Golden Triangle commercial district, Lafayette Centre provides 750,000sf of office and retail space within three high-rise towers which frame a multipurpose central courtyard and atrium. This mixed-use corporate center provides Class A office space, shops, restaurants and public gathering areas within a fully accessible urban environment, which is fully developed over multilevel underground parking. LaPierre prepared landscape site plans and construction details for plazas, streetscape and rooftop terraces. Special attention was given to the design of a family of site furnishings, which define a unique urban address and provide complete way-finding signing elements. Also included was retail signage which could be easily adapted to respond to the owner’s ever-changing program and tenant requirements for the plazas and restaurant terraces.
