MAPLEWOOD COMMUNITY GATED ENTRANCE MCLEAN, VA

The Maplewood community homeowner’s association asked LAPIERRE STUDIO to reconfigure their entrance with security gates. The task was a challenge due to an underground public storm drain that resulted in very tight construction easements. The entrance is designed to serve as a community identity by reconfiguring the drive for a prominent entrance and easy turn around with modern paving patterns and wider vehicular lanes. Two security gates are designed to limit access to the neighborhood and beautify the entrance, stone piers and signage incorporate natural materials and symbolize enduring strength.
